So I bought myself a Myphone Mypad 2. I bought it at P4,999. I was choosing between Myphone and a Cherry Mobile tablet with almost the same specs and price and I've read some reviews of other products of both brands, I was convinced to buy this one. Sure there are lots of cheap china tablets out with better specs but I had to get one with a warranty in case something happens to it.
Anyways, I was pretty excited cause this is my first tablet and I would l like to share my experience with mypad 2, so I created this blog.
These are the specs of Myphone Mypad 2 from their website. It's amazing how long and detailed the info they have about their products. :)

Other info I copied from the device:

Unboxing MyPhone Mypad 2
Aside from the map, at the back of the tablet is the 2.0 megapixel camera and on the lower backside is the speaker.
Top: Power button, micro usb port, micro sd card slot, 3.5 mm audio jack
This is how the homescreen and app drawer look. Well pretty much it looks like that. I already installed some few apps, if you can see on the image. Viber, Facebook and Twitter are pre-installed. An MMDA app that has traffic info., which I think is useful for people who lives in Metro Manila but not for me cause I live and work in the province. There is also the Pinoy app with My Faith and My Country sort of feature. My Faith is actually really good if you are religious and a Catholic. It has some prayer guides: holy rosary, angelus and so on. My Country has Filipino qoutes, pick up lines, bugtong and movie lines. Some of the must-be-on-a-tablet apps are not installed like Youtube, an ebook reader, or a document/spreadsheet creator/reader. Though I could get those on Google Play, it would have been greater to have those already on the tablet...that could save time, effort and bandwidth :)
Here's a video of my Mypad that I managed to take. Quality is not so good. But would upload a better quality soon.
For internet browsing, reading ebooks, watching Youtube videos, and playing a few games, Myphone Mypad 2 does its job good. It is not for HD games and large apps. So long I can play Candy Crush, some arcade games, Temple Run and Subway Surfer, this tablet is okay for me.
The battery life, like any android tablets/phones, depends on the usage. From my experience here's my observation on how long the battery life of my Mypad 2 lasts .
Turning on Wifi at certain times, checking email, Facebook, web browsing only : 6 hours
Watching Youtube videos only: 3 hours
Playing Candy Crush only: 3 hours
There are some battery saver/booster apps available on Google Play that could make the battery life last a little longer. Greenify is one of them which can hibernate apps that runs on the background and prevent them from draining the battery.
Myphone Mypad 2 is a great tablet for a first-time tablet user like me. It's cheap but it doesn't look cheap. It's solid and it looks good. So I am happy!

Note: This post was redone. I had an accident while updating the whole blog. Unfortunately I had no back up.. so I guess, a lesson is learned here. =)
